x16 R1, 4 blue light indicator

My Alienware x16 will not power up. Initially it was powered on but nothing was working and the power button was flashing green/yellow continuously. I had tried to restart it and that happened for some reason. I could not power it down or power drain it or anything while it was doing this. I opened up the bottom and pulled the battery out and put it back in after 5 minutes. Now when I try to start it it begins to start like normal but then just stops and the power button blinks a dark blue color 4-5 times. I can not find an indicator in the user manual for several blue blinks with no red.

Just on a hunch try reseating the RAM. Also run diagnostics, F12 at boot.

@JOcean  will try but I don’t believe it is booting at all which is part of the problem of course.

Unplug the system, disconnect the battery from the system board and hold the power button for 30 sec.  Reassemble and see if the system will POST.  If not, hopefully the system is under warranty, as it almost certainly needs a replacement mainboard.

@ejn63 unfortunately my warranty just ran out last month. I have tried multiple times to do this and do not believe it will POST. Will try again right now
