x15 R2, RTX 3080 Ti power barrier

Hi,
I have run a number of tests in games and FurMark. GPU power almost never goes past 90 Watts, even when CPU usage is low. Because of this, the FurMark 1080P test result is really subpar at 7084 points (118 FPS, 60000 ms).
I saw a similar thread on x17 R2 here.
Seems x17 R2 is sorted by the latest vbios update, I tried to run that update but it can't be run seems it is only for x17 R2.
Are we going to get a similar vbios update to fix this power barrier in x15 r2?
This is very annoying to see other brand laptops achieving far better performance when we certainly have the hardware to do so but the bios is not tweaked correctly.

Thanks, mate. I'm getting a replacement due to some other faults, I'll see what the replacement is like. I'm just afraid that it is designed to perform this way.

Nope, it doesn't. I actually have two x15 r2 with me at the moment. GPUZ vbios info says the default power is 90 watts and max at 140 watts. So maybe it is designed to perform at 90 watts as base TDP.
But how come the dynamic boost never kicks in? Also a dynamic boost of 50 watts is quite large compared to other laptops by normal standards, looks like a marketing trick to make people think the max TDP is 140 watts but in real life you are never going to get it consistently.
90 watts really is subpar for a 3080 ti, if I can't get it working I'm going to consider returning it and go for another brand. It is a shame because it does seem to have the hardware and cooling to support at least a constant TDP of 110 watts.
Oh, also I saw a similar post by someone else mentioning the same, here. Just search for "X15 R2 3080TI" in that post.

Within the first 30 days there is option to Reject Alienware x15 R2 that is delivered but fails to match marketing specification. Dell Refund policy, New vs Refurbished - Dell Community. Full refund is usually requested, otherwise the Dell warranty continues, whereas a new purchase starts with a new Dell warranty. Please action asap.
Please visit your online Dell account to create Support Request so that Dell Support 'officially' knows why you request to Reject these Alienware x15 R2 laptops. Allow Dell Technical Support's request for online session to investigate this issue.
