x15 R2, RTX 3070 Ti, what's the official TDP?
I've just run a 3DMark time spy with the override option on AWCC. On 150mhz core clock override and 300mhz vram override. I got a max power draw at 122w on gpuz, and the gpu is pretty cool at around 60 degree. But Ive heard x15r2 3070ti has a max tdp at 140w. Is that true?
If it's true, how can I get to this 140w? Do I have to make change on bios?

Thank you for replying!
I actually wanted to overclock the gpu harder. But when I increased the core frequency to the max, the 3dmark time spy crashed as I started running it. Probably overclocking at max performance reduce the stability.
Anyway, I wont try this any more. You are right

Hi @oribesama welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
TDP is just a number that the CPU manufacturer (Intel, AMD, …) specifies to inform a computer builder about how much heat they must design the computer to handle. Not all processors may even reach that TDP because it may be a little brother chip with a lower clock frequency.
And you ask how you can get your CPU to produce more heat than the manufacturer specified? Why would you want to do that? There are better ways to heat a room than to try to overvoltage/overclock a processor to try to make it hotter.

More internal heat will cook the battery chemistry and reduce its life.
