x15 R2, problem in my Alienware

Hello guys👋 , I need urgent help. I bought a new Alienware x15 R2 laptop. After a short period of about a month or a month and a half, I started to get blue screens of death and the laptop would hang or freeze. Sometimes, I would get an alienware command center fail safe notification. I will attach a picture of the notification. Although my use of it during that period was light, I was just using Google and trying a game and installing some applications. I talked to customer service. They told me that I had to reinstall the Windows operating system. I did that and the problem still exists. Now, a week ago, it suddenly shuts itself down. I talked to customer service again. They told me that I had to reinstall the operating system again. If the problem persists, I had to go to a technician to check the device’s hardware. I went and unfortunately, the technician told me that he could not determine the problem and told me that I had to go to the place where I bought it😭😭. Unfortunately, I cannot travel to the place where I bought it 😭. I literally tried everything. I reinstalled the operating system. I restored the BIOS to its default settings. I ran a hardware scan using programs such as Windows Memory Diagnostic. All the tests tell me that everything is fine. There is no problem with the hardware. However, The problem still exists, so what should I do and what could be the problem? Is there anyone who has suffered like me? What solutions should I try and what could happen in the worst case scenario!? 🙏

Hallo Sarah,

I had the same issue with my brand new X15 R2.

Sorry to say, but I have found no solution besides replacing the X15 R2 or replacing the mainboard.

Best regards

Christian

@pdchristian Ok but did you find out what was the problem with it or did you just replace it?

Hello @Sarah2002 ,
the laptop was replaced at that time.
But you can try the following:

You can test the RAM using Memtest86 and then exclude the faulty RAM addresses.

https://www.memtest86.com/blacklist-ram-badram-badmemorylist.html

Good luck!
