x14 R1, RTX 3060, heatsink thermal pad thickness?
Hey everyone,
I have an Alienware x14 R1. Does anyone know the specific thickness of the thermal pads used for the heatsink in this model? Any info on the pad placement or thickness would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Not really a defined thickness, but sometimes the PDF Service Manuals have some pretty good pictures.
I would suggest you take your own pictures and you dig into it. You can inventory and order new ones then.
When I did my XPS15-9520, I just re-used the existing ones. They were not melted and regained their original shape (while un-compressed). I used (non conductive) Noctua NT-H1 Thermal-Compound for the heatsink chips (cpu and gpu) ... in same fashion as used before at factory.
