Run diagnostics, F12 at boot, to check for possible hardware problems.

ran the tool it did not find any issues.

restart takes significantly shorter time around 30 seconds but problem with boot still exists.

Hi @shouryat32 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.

Please try to diagnose and fix windows operating system. See my post within Alienware m17 R3. Screen flickering and occasionally going black whilst awake - Dell Community.

Let's backup to the basics =
* Are you powering on using the provided external USB-C power adapter or on battery only?
* Do you have any external peripherals connected to the x14 R1 USB-C or USB-A ports?

Tried everything  connected with the customer care.

They say it might be an issue with the ssd or motherboard and a technician will be sent to look into it further

Hi @shouryat32 thank you for sharing update.

Dell Support usually assigns a local contractor (not Dell technician) to investigate, get their name and contact information. You should watch what happens, any damage is covered 100% by Dell warranty and you need to update Dell Support so that they know if another issue needs to be fixed. Prepare a surface with clean soft covering so when laptop is inverted to remove Base cover, the external lid surface is not scratched, etc. Check that Alienware x14 is fully functional before you let local contractor leave. Check when signing for work undertaken that any damage is recorded, it is prudent to take before and after photographs.

Please be aware that your drives may 'loose' all their information and it is your responsibility to create clone (copy) on a backup drive. Macrium Reflect Free can create clone (copy) on a backup drive and external enclosure that you purchase. (There is only One internal M.2 2230/2280 slot for solid-state drive.)
