x14 R1, AWCC, can't enable or chage keyboard color
Hi, I'm having a problem with my x14 R1. I can't seem to enable AWCC (Alienware Command Center) or change my keyboard color on my laptop. Please help.

Having the same problem with a M15 R6, AWCC is borked, have spent the better part of a day uninstalling, reinstalling. It fails to reinstall. They really need a better way to control keyboard lights, fan control. I've used every method of uninstalling from Windows Add Remove Programs to Revo Uninstaller. Have had issues with removing C:/ProgramData/Dell/AWCCService, says I don't have access, yet my permissions say I do.
rmdir /s says it has files, yet no files are listed in a dir /a command.
Something is broken

I fixed my problem finally.
I followed the printed instructions here to uninstall...
How to Uninstall and Reinstall the Alienware Command Center | Dell US
Used Revo Uninstaller to continue the uninstall, as the link instructions still left programs listed.
Then ran Regedit and deleted any key with "Alienware Command Center" and "AWCC".
Reboot.
I then installed Alienware-Command-Center-Application_87Y0N_WIN_5.8.2.0_A00.exe.

and everything is working 👍
