Wake up laptop on AC while UEFI (BIOS) does not have that option
I have two Alienware laptops, and I’ve been trying to set up my external monitor and laptop to act as a desktop (turn on with AC).
Since there is no docking station specifically designed for Alienware devices, I found a way to wake the laptop using the mouse and keyboard.
Issue 1: I would like to use the 'Wake up on AC' BIOS setting as this would be ideal (plugging in power turns both the monitor and laptop on). However, my UEFI does not support this feature, and I have searched everywhere.
I enabled the wake-up by keyboard feature in Windows 11, which works fine. However, after around 3 hours in sleep mode, the laptop enters a "deeper sleep," and the keyboard can no longer wake it up.
What solutions would you recommend to solve this issue?
