m18 R2, unable to unmute

Whenever I turn on my m18 R2, the mute button is glowing and all of my microphones plugged in get muted. When I press the button again it does not unmute and plugging microphones back in doesn't work. I have tried restarting my computer many times and checked drivers in Dell.

Strange issue. Have you installed the latest BIOS 1.14.0 and reinstalled the Audio?

Clarification: I have a Volt 2 (which I also check if i have all the drivers for) and my mic is being picked up on that, but is not picking up on my computer. I also have a USB mic which I plugged it to try and troubleshoot, and when I restarted my computer with it plugged in it got muted and can no longer unmute, even when I unplug it and plug it back in.

Before any of our user can correctly assist in troubleshooting, you need to post your specific Alienware Laptop model.

* Restart, press F2 to enter the BIOS
* Go to Integrated Devices menu
* Go to Audio
* Go to Enable Microphone
* Change to Disable
* Exit the BIOS saving changes. The system reboots into Windows

* Restart, press F2 to enter the BIOS
* Go to Integrated Devices menu
* Go to Audio
* Go to Enable Microphone
* Change to Enable
* Exit the BIOS saving changes

* Once back into Windows, is the Microphone button still muted?

@DELL-Chris M tried this, button just turns back on whenever my computer boots up, pressing it turns the light off but all my mics are still muted.

@DELL-Chris M So while doing this I think I managed to completely break realtek, and now my audio is broken too. I'm gonna have to take my computer in somewhere to get it fixed.

@KiwiApteryx Nevermind! I am dramatic and after letting someone else in my house try their hand at fixing it, windows updater picked up what I broke and fixed it all. I don't have a clue what exactly happened but everything works again!
