m18 R2, UD22, power error, #2

I have the m18 R2 as well, running off the UD22 dock and using the supplied power supply for my laptop. I'm still seeing the message "You have attached a power adapter to a port that does not accept power. Attach a power adapter to your system's power port. Your port does not accept power. To supply power to your system while docked, attach a power adapter to your system."

When Windows updates run at night it sits at this screen and the fans are running constantly. Is there no fix to this? It’s annoying.

The system ships with either a 280W or a 360W power adapter.  No docking station of any type can fully power this system -- you need the original power supply connected directly to the system.

The only way to suppress the error is to disconnect the docking station.

I understand the docking station can't power the laptop. Why does it stop on post when I have an appropriate power supply already plugged in to the system. Seems like that could be avoided. I don't need the warning. You can't even post normally if you're on a docking station.
