m17 R5, MediaTek Wi-Fi 6 MT7921 disabled
Alienware m17 R5 AMD
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
{Operation Failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful.
Above is the error code. I already tried re-installing but that did NOT work. I also tried checking Windows Updates and the computer is up to date.
No Events found!

This did not work for me. I rolled back to the previous version of the driver and that failed as well. With the computer on, I held the power button down for one minute, the machine will turn off. After one minute, powered it back on and it worked. According to an article I found, this clears some internal memory and that is what resolves the problem. Not sure if I can put an external link in here but search on this and you will find it. "MediaTek MT7921 Wi-Fi 6 card not working after Windows 11 June update, but there're some workarounds".

Fixed the problem by having to TWICE disable and enable the device on the device manager

Re-Occurring problem: The Wifi Adapter is back to being disabled for no reason at all, I did NOT drop my laptop or spill anything on it so please do not bother asking if I damaged it.
For the wifi in device manager the adapter has this error message no matter how many time sI try re installing.
"

For the bluetooth --it is not appearing in the device manger anymore
then suddenly device manager now has something displayed of an "unknown usb" device
When I first got the laptop everything was fine. I did NOT drop it, I did NOT sp;ill anything, etc. I also have an Anti virus program so please do not ask to check for viruses or anything random that will just waste time. This is driving me crazy. This should not be happening for such an expensive purchase

Hi @EidyA welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
Alienware m17 R5 AMD should have Windows 11 version 22H2. If not, please update.
Please disconnect all laptop external connections and Perform a Hard Reset | Dell US. (Disconnect battery, do not remove battery.)
Please delete the "unknown usb" device from within Device Manager and Restart (not Shut Down) to save this change. Windows will update Device Manager during Restart, and the "unknown usb" device should not reappear.
Wi-Fi device cannot start, Code 10 occurs when the Device Manager is unable to start a hardware device. The Code 10 error is basically saying that Windows found your device, but for one reason or another, cannot communicate properly with one of your devices and is therefore unable to create a connection with it.
Please visit Device Manager > Network adapter and right click to open properties of Wireless Network Adapter. Click on Power Management tab and disable option to allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. The Bluetooth option may have to be turned on again in Notifications.
