m17 R4, macro lighting not working

Cannot change macro lighting. Nothing happens when I click on it under the FX tab in my Alienware Command Center. All drivers and system appear to be updated, although I did get a notification saying my laptop was not compatible for Windows 11. Not sure what else to add. When I try to change the theme, there is an exclamation point next to both "Macros" and "Settings" and they are greyed out.

 

Is there a simple fix for this, or do I have to go file rummaging? Any help is appreciated.
