m17 R2, repair RAM

The RAM is soldered to the system board, and the modules just aren't sold separately -- you might be able to find someone selling an otherwise dead mainboard with good RAM on it who can remove and swap it, but it won't be inexpensive from a labor standpoint.  The only practical solution is a replacement mainboard.

The boards seem to run between $250 and over $600 depending on the CPU and GPU they have.

1. No, since the memory is not socketed.  It's hard soldlered.

2.  Yes.

3.   Closest one I see is this one.

Wow..

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060

CPU: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) 17-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz, 2592 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical P.

RAM: 16GB

1/ Can memory issues be fixed by software or other solutions (Disassemble and clean...) ?

2/ So the system board include the graphic card ?

3/ Do you have a link to my system board ?

Thank you for the reply.

It's tough to accept..

Last questions :)

How much would you estimate this PC for resale?
- Defective memory module
- Battery only lasts a few minutes

No other issues, no scratches, very well maintained.

And what would be the best website to sell it ?

Your best bet is to browse EBay or similar for the going price of a working system, though you'll lose a lot from the bad system board.  There's  one similar to your system listed for $390 as complete and working -- you might get half that for the system with a bad mainboard.
