m17 R2, Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650W network adapter issues
So according to Dell, the "THCRT Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650W AX200D2W" installed in my out of warranty Alienware m17 R2 laptop does in fact support Wi-Fi 6/802.11ax. As does my T-Mobile 5G Gateway Internet device that I use for Wi-Fi. But after going into Device Manager to change the Wireless Mode from it's default 802.11a/b/g setting to the much faster much better 802.1ax Wireless Mode (via the value setting), I then hit OK to close out of the wireless adapter properties per usual and let "Scan for Hardware Changes" do it's thing. But when I go back into Device Manager then to my wireless adapters Advance properties to check if my network adapter settings were granted so I could use wireless mode 802.11ax, it keeps showing it's on the 802.11a/b/g no matter how many times I try to change it to the .11ax mode? Is there somewhere in Windows 10 (whether it's thru Group Policy Editor, Services, Admin Command Prompt, etc.) that will let me either disable something like WLAN Auto-Config for instance or a setting in Windows that will allow me to enable the Wi-Fi 6/802.11ax mode? I'd appreciate any help, suggestions or feedback in regards to this matter. Thank you!

Update: So after doing a partial disassembly on my M17 R2 to clean fans and apply new thermal paste on cpu/gpu, I also noticed the white antenna wire was not connected to the wireless cards' little brass fitting like it should have been. Upon further inspection (after trying unsuccessfully to connect it back onto the wireless card a couple times) I could see this particular fitting was missing a tiny but still very important element inside that some pc techs like to refer to as the nipple. The theory is, that until I'm able to connect that antenna wire to the wlan card,...I won't be able to use this particular network adapters faster Wi-Fi 6 capabilities. Fortunately I was able to find a 3rd party oem replacement part that will be installed sometime this week. Fingers crossed!
