m16 R2, external mic volume low

My internal mic works just fine, reaches a normal amount of volume (from 40% to 60%) however my external mics only reach up to 5% volume. External mic volume way too low even with the input level is set to 100%. One of which is a wired headset, the other are wireless earbuds. My PC was just bought last month and I went to windows tech support and later dell tech support. Windows attempted to reinstall windows 11 on my PC but my PC was unable to reinstall windows 11. Should I be worried about this? Does this mean windows 11 didn't properly install the first time when i first received my PC a month ago? I lost everything after having to do a system restart because I chose the wrong windows 11 (both type 3) as the default OS.
