m16 R2, does not turn on without the power adapter
Alienware m16 R2
My Alienware m16 R2 laptop does not turn on without the adapter. But when the adapter is plugged in, the laptop turns on, and when the adapter is unplugged, the laptop remains on normally

Time to call Dell to arrange a warranty repair. Chances are the mainboard needs to be replaced, which the warranty should cover.
