m15 R7, will not power on
Alienware m15 R7
<Moved out of Latitude and into Alienware. DELL-Admin>
I have an Alienware m15 R7 which is out of warranty since August 23. Over time, it has been getting more difficult to power on, but it eventually did. Now, it will not boot at all. I have tested the power cord and voltage is good. However, when it is plugged into the computer (blue light on end of power cord going into the laptop glows blue), the machine shows no lights and power button is unresponsive. I have replaced the battery with a new one. I have performed power drain to do a RTC reset. Still: When plugged in there is no lights on the computer (even though the power button should glow blue when charging), and pressing power button once or twice does nothing. I have noted the following. When plugged in, and I press the power button for 30 seconds, the power button will glow blue for 30 seconds and go out - but no other sign of life (screens or fans). If I unplug it and do the same (I.E. running on battery power), the power button will glow yellow for 30 seconds then go out, again with no sign of life.
Thoughts anyone?

Repeat the power off/disconnect main battery/hold power button for 30 sec, but also remove and reinstall the memory modules. If that has no effect, it's time for a replacement system board.
