m15 R7, split bezel
Hi,
Around a month ago I received a new Alienware m15 R7 and it's been a fantastic laptop! However, over time, the interaction between the bezel on the bottom right of the screen and the corner of the chassis has led to the splitting of both pieces. I also wish to note that the display panel itself has been installed at a slight angle within the bezel, which has been rather annoying. I have had, to the best of my knowledge, 0 cause in the splitting of the bezel, I believe it's a factory error that has only become noticeable over time from repeated small interactions. I hope this is covered under warranty.
Thanks

Hi @AvGeekW159 welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
It is unfortunate that this fault has not been reported within the first 30 days, where Reject would have been an option to provide new laptop replacement or full refund. Dell Refund policy, New vs Refurbished - Dell Community
As soon as possible, please visit your online Dell account to raise Service Request so that Dell knows there is a problem to fix. Provide all the evidence that Dell wants to see, so you can request that this problem be escalated to senior Dell tier who has the authority to provide a full remedy for you.
Have a look at invoice to see if Alienware m15 R7 has the basic first year warranty, or different warranty.

Hi @KasenM welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
The lower half of your photograph shows the problem and should be included in your warranty Service Request.
