m15 R7, crashes after installing Samsung 32GBx2 ram
I have installed a new 32gb ram replacing 8gb*2 stock. It is working but it crashed multiple times throughout the day. Am not sure what to blame here. I have ram the mem diganostics and it shows that there are issues in hardware.
Please give me suggestions on how to move forward from here.

@DELL-Chris M i have upgraded to the 32GB*2 samsung Ram today. And i have been facing frequent crashes since that. Do i need to change anything in bios? When i ran the memory diganostics it shows hardware issues. Am not sure if its the ram or if there are compatibility issues. Please help

If you put the original memory back in the system does the issue remain the same?
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Hi
I suggest something like memtest86 if you haven't tried it already.
Otherwise consider returning the memory module as problematic.
You don't mention the actual issues in hardware.

The internet reports..........
The Dell Alienware m15 R7 supports a maximum RAM capacity of 64 GB. This is achieved by installing two 32 GB DDR5 SODIMM modules (2 x 32 GB) in its two available memory slots. The supported memory speed is up to 4800 MHz.
Maximum RAM: 64 GB (2 x 32 GB)
Memory Type: DDR5 SODIMM
Supported Speeds: Up to 4800 MHz
Number of Slots: 2
Some users have reported compatibility issues with certain RAM brands, so it is recommended to use modules that are known to work with the system, such as Crucial DDR5-4800 SODIMM

Are you saying that you bought two of our OEM R62CW 32GB sticks?

@anne_droid I have used the recommended RAM and brand. Samsung has been the factory ram too. I ran the memtest86 it showed me the errors on A1 ram and i removed that as well now. But the pc turns on but nothing on the display. I have reached out to a local service center for this but i wonder if they know to solve this issue.

Dell cannot know why some retail ram does or does not work because Dell never tested it. All I can give you is the specifications for our OEM validated ram.
Retail = 32GB 2Rx8 PC5 Samsung M425R4G3880-COKOD
OEM = R62CW 32GB, SODIMM, 48MHz, 2Rx8, Unbuffered, DDR5, 260 pin, Dual Rank, Non-ECC, Non-Encrypted, Samsung M425R4GA3BB0-CQK
