m15 R7, black screen only, tried multiple fixes/suggestions

Alienware m15 R7 laptop shows only black screen. Has lights on power button and keyboard. Tried multiple things, but all end up with same black screen result.

1) Power on without battery connected
2) Power on with only battery
3) Clearing residual power
4) Swap/remove/reinstall RAM, also use 1 stick only
5) Remove/reinstall SSD
6) Ctrl+Esc then power to BIOS recovery
7) F12 and F2 during bootup (unable to do)
8) Connect to external monitor via HDMI (no signal)
9) Fn+power for diagnostics (does not work)
10) D+power for BIST test (lcd gets the cycling colors then black screen)

This is only 2yrs old and paid almost $2,000 for this.
This is frustrating and I might have to spend a lot more just to fix it.
