Hi @Pinguim_58 thank you for sharing update.
Please use Revo Uninstaller Free to remove AWCC and then its Advanced Scan to delete all of its remaining Files, Restart (not Shut Down) to save change. Then use Revo Uninstaller Free to remove OC Controls, Restart (not Shut Down) to save change.
You are now ready to install AWCC (and OC Controls) as if for the first time. Never try to install the Dell AWCC application over the internet, always download file and then install.
Please install the Old version of AWCC that you know works on the Alienware m15 R6. This could be the AWCC version that was originally installed at the factory. Do not be tempted to install any AWCC version update, unless one of your applications asks for a specific version.

Hi @Pinguim_58 welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
Please click on Product Support and allow Dell to ID your system. Please share Model, Revision number, and Operating System (e.g. Alienware 17 R5 Windows 10, 64-bit).
Installing Dell AWCC application updates is not recommended. The Factory version of the AWCC should be retained because you know that it works. It should be possible to install peripheral drivers without AWCC update, unless they require a specific AWCC version.

I am pretty sure that you might have tried this but let me ask you. Have you tried uninstalling AWCC, downloading the latest AWCC setup and reinstalling?

How can you tell it's looping?
