m15 R5, driver issue

so i have an alienware laptop. got it for uni as i am often running a lot of large softwares at once. I have had the issue with the brightness not changing at all no matter what i do. i know this is a driver issue, but im not very tech savy at all. could someone step me through exactly what to do, and what driver will fix this issue? it hasnt bothered me much until recently when i started working more at night.

Alienware m15 ryzen Ed. R5

processor- AMD Ryzen 7 5800H with Radeon Graphics 3.20 GHz

if someone has any idea how to fix this, that would be great. i have 0 idea what current driver my laptop is currently using and 0 idea of how to check. I know i sound like a complete noob lol but its driving me cray and i just want my brightness and keyboard lights buttons to work.
