m15 R2, flicker, GPU hot

Hi I just bought Alienware m15 R2 from Facebook. I checked the laptop before buying and everything was fine. But one day after the screen was starting to flicker and the laptop is getting extremely hot around the GPU. Do you think the graphics card is dying or something? I don't want to spend another £500 just to get it fixed I'm not even sure if you can get the gpu fixed?
