m15 R1, can't undervolt
I noticed that recently my CPU temps started to rise again and when I checked throttlestop, all the options in FIVR are locked. Undervolting helped a lot for this model and after doing some search, I found out about Intel Undervolt Protection : overclocking (reddit.com). although I don't know if it affects this laptop too. My BIOS version is 2.17.0. Is there any way I can get my undervolting options back or will Dell finally enable to undervolt using BIOS in a future update. I really hope I can get to undervolt this device again since it at least made temperatures manageable.

Ok so HWiNFO64 doesn't even show the Dynamic Overclocking Undervolt Protection so I have no idea about that BUT
I managed to finally get to undervolt again by editing the hidden BIOS settings (combination of Undervolting 2020 Dell Laptops like the Vostro 7500 and More Tips to Improve Thermals, Battery Life, and Speed - Brendan Greenley and https://starkeblog.com/firmware/uefi/ru.efi/bios/2020/08/01/modifying-bios-using-ru-efi.html ). I did downgrade my BIOS to 2.14.0 first but there was no change but the settings modification worked and my thermals are fine again! If anyone is going down this path, be careful not to change other settings. I haven't tried it with the latest version (2.17.0 at the moment) but hopefully it works for future versions too.

Hi @Deathknight67 welcome to this free user-to-user Alienware laptop discussion forum.
The link Here in opening post says: You can check whether this feature was enabled using the latest version of the HWiNFO64 utility. It is called Dynamic Overclocking Undervolt Protection.
Please look at Intel & OEMs are disabling undervolting. Here's how to re-enable it (ultrabookreview.com) and Solved: Dell 7577-BIOS 1.11.0 - Undervolt Lock--Thermal Throttling/Power Limit - Dell Community and Intel Undervolt Protection | TechPowerUp Forums.

To clarify, this is the option which disables undervolting and it's missing in BIOS (as you can see, it's enabled by default which prevents undervolting). I really hope more of the BIOS settings is open to everyone in the future rather than making the user take a risk at bricking their device.
