Installing second SSD with different ("unrecommended") form factor
I was wondering if the new Alienware 16 Area-51 AA16250/16X Aurora AC16251 laptops can really only take the same form factor NVMe? The manual states if it is built with a 2230/2280 the second must be the same as the first. From the pictures in the manual there is definitely space for the larger form factor. And there is even a section that explains how to move the set screw to accommodate both form factors. Is this restriction something I should worry about? Or can I use either form factor as the second option regardless of which option is installed in slot 1?

As long as the drive fits (and if you want it to have a heat plate, that you have that or purchase one) it should not be an an issue.
