Gaming Laptop, with hours of game time
I am looking for a new gaming rig, but would really like something that I can travel with and has good battery life. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

There is no way to do that -- and anything with an upper-range GPU these days won't run anywhere near its full potential on battery anyway -- most gaming notebooks above the mid-range have 300W or higher capacity power adapters for a reason. The GPUs are by far the heaviest power consumers in the system.
While decent CPU performance is pretty much a given even with relatively low power consumption, GPU performance is not.

You won't find one system to meet all those prerequisites. You will need to prioritize. If you want a high performing gaming notebook, you won't get portability or long battery runtimes. If you want light weight and long battery runtimes, you won't get high gaming performance.
The least expensive option will be a highly portable, lightweight notebook for portability, and a gaming desktop for performance.
The more expensive option by far will be a highly portable lightweight notebook for gaming and a high performance, heavy notebook that will be tethered to AC power for gaming.
You can't meet all your requirements with a single system.

I was hoping to get two of the three. High performance, long battery, but accept that it would have to be pretty heavy.
