FPS on Alienware x16 R2 4090 Ultra 9 185H, 2300 Mhz

Hi everyone,

I have recently bought this laptop to match a friend who has almost the same but slightly lower specs, i feel the fps i am getting should be a lot higher, he is getting 150-200 depending on game, my machine is 40-80 depending on game. I have reinstalled every driver, windows update, cleaned the fans even though its hardly used, 

Is anyone able to point me in direction, the fps doesnt seem to alter when i switch between quite mode thoguh to high performance with thermol.
