My first Alienware is the Alienware 17 R5 (i7-8750H, GTX 1070, QHD) Laptop refreshed with per-key RGB lighting. My 17 R5 was purchased on eBay with extended Dell warranty. Application to transfer ownership and Dell warranty to me as new owner was requested online: Ownership Transfer | Dell US | Dell US. I submitted online Dell Problem Report form within months when no Dell update arrived. I submitted online Dell Service Request which continues to say there is Issue with Support Services and Technical Services say unable to resolve issue. Still waiting for transfer of ownership and Dell warranty.
My first Alienware was a new M17x R3, which arrived in April 2012, unfortunately I didn't know that the R4 was only weeks from being released. I still have it in the collection and it's still working great.
That was quickly followed by an M11x R3 which was purchased a few days after the M17x arrived.
