Buying Alienware without an OS?
Hey, I'm looking to buy alienware X16 but I don't need the windows OS as the first thing I will do is load Ubuntu on it, is there a possibility to buy the laptop without Windows to avoid needless spending on software I won't use?

No, and since any support you might need is extended only to the factory OS, Dell can require you to have (or reload) the factory image of Windows before any hardware support is rendered.
Since you'll wind up losing any of the functionality tied to the Alienware control center -- including the lighting, fan and temperature control, fan speed, etc. -- you may want to choose a different system if your goal is to run Linux. For the price of an Alienware, you can buy a Precision mobile workstation and have much better Linux support than any Alienware ( or any other flashy gaming notebook) can offer.
