AW2725DF, standby stops PC boot
Hi everyone,
I have a DELL AW2725DF that I use in a dual configuration with an AOC 2790WG5 both connected to an RTX 3080 via DP.
When I turn on the PC with the monitor on (in standby) the PC does not start, not even the BIOS post starts, it remains in energy saving mode? And none of the two monitors come out of standby.
If instead I completely turn off the Alienware monitor (AOC in standby) the PC starts normally, then I turn on the Alienware and windows sets it as the main one and everything works... until I turn off the PC! what could it be? some BIOS setting? The only thing that can be seen if I keep the Alienware in standby is a message with the words "DP1 no signal..." and then "Going in standby..." (or something like that).

Hello, i have the exact same problem. The monitor just arrived yesterday and I installed it along with the Dell mda20 monitor arms. It took me a while to figure out that the momitor is causing the problem. But as soon as the DP to it is disconnected or even the power off button on the monitor is pressed, there isnt any issue anymore. Also, the boot LED on the mobo is green when he doesnt start up. I have a dell aw2721d as second monitor and an rtx3080ti. Would you mind to share your fix if there is any?
