Area-51m R2, upgrade SSD max option?
I don't understand what's the max option of 51m r2 . I know I can updrage form i7 10700 to i9 10900k . Max 64gb ram . But now I have four slots to upgrade. I want to upgrade 4 slots gen 4 4tb but I see the online post and Dell web . 51m r2 just can upgrade 4 slots ssd gen 4 2tb . Who can help me ? Thank a lot of .

Dell max in specifications was referred to the products Dell tested, validated and available for sale at the purchase configurations of the system. HDD and SSD use standard specifications and they can be upgraded at higher capacity available in the markets. Therefore, yes, you can upgrade with higher capacity SSD than the specifications maximum.
While the capacity can be higher than specs, the performance from the controller remains the same. You may upgrade with Gen 4 SSD, however, the read/write speed will be backward compatible with the storage controller and be running at Gen 3 as indicated on the storage specifications below.
