Area-51m R1, AWCC change thermal game crash

Hi, I was playing WOW the other day on my laptop, and the thermal mode was set to cool. To increase some FPS, I turned it to performance. Suddenly the screen turned to the highest bright, and there were many red and green pixels appearing on the screen, 10 seconds later the system crashed and auto rebooted. I tested several times, everything works fine only when set to cool. When set to the other four options (Full speed/Performance/Balanced/Quiet), the system crashes when I open any game. How can I fix it?
