Area-51m Beeps
Alienware Area-51m
What does it mean when it does some singsong type tones, then 3 beeps, pause, 2 beeps, pause, 1 beep?
I have already replaced the display.

It usually means a mainboard failure -- what led you to replace the display?

The little tune on startup does sound like an LCD test.
Did you replace the display cable along with the display? I have seen this issue resolved with the a new display cable.
First, just check that the original cable is plugged in properly to the display and the motherboard and there are no crimps or cuts.
Note, if you need to buy a new display cable then you will have to make sure it suits your display. From what I have seen, there are usually different cables for different resolutions, Hz and if it's G-sync.

The laptop got stepped on by a pitbull. The first time I powered it up, the screen had a large crack in it and I couldn't see anything. I turned it on again a few weeks later and it was just a black screen. That's why I replaced the display.
I'll check the display cable again. Maybe I didn't get it punched down, like I couldn't get the killer wireless card punched down again. The new display came with all the cables, but not the card. I was able to get the white wire in, but the black wire wouldn't stay clamped on, so I just used electrical tape to keep them disconnected from the killer wireless card.
