Alienware Area 51 running super slow while on battery

The computer runs fast while connected to the ac adapter in windows but the moment I disconnect it the whole computer slow down so much that it’s a pain to use, everything will load up as slow as an old hard drive  I’ve set all possible settings to high performance and balanced and still it didn’t improve anything. Is this normal behavior for this machine ? I can’t even use it for basic browsing while on battery in bed I need to have it plugged in 24/7 in order for it to work smooth just for basic computing tasks . This is the maxed out model btw with the ultra 9 and 5090 with 64gb of ram and 4 tb of raid 0 ssd . Other people with this same model have said there machine run smooth while in battery so I’m concerned if there is something wrong with my computer
