18 R1, screen has green pixels
Hi. Suddenly my Alienware 18 R1 just has green pixels all over the screen. Need fix as soon as possible since is the laptop I use for college. Thanks

@SEBXD10 The 18 is an end-of life machine now which basically means that Dell no longer supply parts for them. If you aren't sure how to troubleshoot this issue then you're best to take it to a local repair shop.
My guess is that one (or both) of your dedicated GPU's is faulty. You can swap from the dedicated cards to the Intel graphics by using one of the function keys. You will see GFX written on one on the keys (can't remember if it's F5, F7 or F8). Press Function and this key and then you have to restart the laptop. You need to have the Alienware OSD driver installed for this to work though.
If the problem goes away then it's a GPU issue.
You can also plug in an external monitor. If the issue isn't on that screen then it's probably your LCD that is faulty. LCD's for these laptops can be very expensive.
