18 Area-51 AA18250, how do I get rid of this awful BIOS load sound?

How do I get rid of that horrible sound that, I guess, is supposed to announce the BIOS boot? By the way, why did they even add it? So my family knows I’ve powered up this monster?

Also: the Opera browser removed the roar it used to play after a version update. I hope they got rid of the roar’s author along with it :D
