16X Aurora AC16251, random pausing
Recently been dealing with my system periodically pausing. Mouse movement, typing, will pause for a second and then go back to normal. Drivers are up to date, and at the latest Windows update. I checked Task Manager to see any spikes in CPU or memory, but nothing seemed to show. Did a sfc scan, it fixed files seemingly related to bluetooth stuff, but otherwise same issue persists.

Well you can try the following:
Check Disk Health
Disable Background Startup Apps
Check DPC Latency
Update or Reinstall These Drivers
Turn Off Power Saving for USB
Check Windows Event Viewer

Support Assist can sometimes give little glitches like this when it's running in the background. Try removing or disabling SA for a little while and see if the issues go away. In my opinion, SA does more harm than good so I would suggest to remove it completely. This is what I've done on my systems.
If you go through your list of Programs, you may find multiple places that mention Support Assist and all of them have to be removed.

@mattyb3 Deleting support Assist seems to have helped. What about Alienware Control Center?

@GauravSyst Disk Health same back good, and my drivers are up to date. How do I check DPC Latency?
I noticed if I have a Windows Update pending, it begins to hitch again, what would be the cause of that?

@MarcsterSK Hopefully that is all it is then. You need AWCC to control the AlienFX lighting and other areas. That should not be causing your issue. Support Assist often runs heavily in the background which can cause freezing and stuttering.
