16X Aurora AC16251, AWCC, no overclock options in app
Recently bought a Alienware 16X Aurora AC16251. In the AWCC app. There's no overclocking options to be found. Overclocking is enabled in the BIOS and Core Isolation etc and all that virtual stuff is disabled. Still the same.
I can only use Intel XTU to overclock.
Please can we get a fix for this.

Found a quick fix. I extracted the setup files from version 6.8.4.0 and installed AWCC through the extracted files. It installed this time and overclock options now show as available.
But I am a little disappointed in the options available. Your only limited to go so far on the clocks and you can't go under -0.020v undervolt on the CPU

Dell GHN (Get Help Now) chat support must verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Service Tag with them.
I see the latest AWCC from the 16X Aurora AC16251 Drivers & Downloads page is V5FMG which is newest version of 6.7.37.0. I also see a newer AWCC version HERE, 6.8.4.0.

@DELL-Chris M
I’m using the AWCC 6.7.37 that’s on my laptops download page. But I’ll try out 6.8.4 on the link you provided shortly when I’m back home. If it still doesn’t work then I’ll report back here then create a ticket through the live chat as requested.

Note, I found AWCC 6.8.4.0 on the 18 Area-51 AA18250 Drivers & Downloads page.
It list 16 Aurora AC16251 here =
But not here? Odd =
Not sure why AWCC 6.8.4.0 is NOT listed on the 16X Aurora AC16251 page?

Update, Atomfix attempted to use AWCC 6.8.4.0 and got "system is incompatible" message.

@DELL-Chris M Just to update also. Been on live chat with Dell for a good 2 hours+ even gone as far as remote assistance to see the issue.
In the end the agent I was with managed to contact the development team of AWCC who said that version 6.9.x.x will fix this and enable overclocking options for the 16X Aurora. No ETA was given. Only "soon"
For now Intel XTU enables me to overclock the CPU and MSI Afterburner for the GPU.

I’m seeing the same thing on my 16X—AWCC shows no overclocking tab at all, even with BIOS settings adjusted. It’s odd because the system clearly supports it, and Intel XTU works just fine. Seems like a software-side issue with AWCC not recognizing the hardware properly. Hopefully Dell can push an update soon, because having to rely on third-party tools defeats the purpose of the Control Center.
