14 R1, replacement battery? #3
Alienware 14 R1 Gaming Laptop P39G i7-4700MQ 2.4GHz 16GB Ram 1000GB SSD
I really need a replacement battery or just one that will work for, plug into (without modification if possible, minor mods only), and will also fit inside the device where the old AlienWare laptop battery is currently sitting. Couldn't chose product I had in the box so the exact model is the subject of message. It also has the NVIDIA GTX 765M.
Product ID: 00326-10000-00000-AA131
Please get back to me, thank you

Just about any battery available new for a model from 2013 will be third-party -- OEM batteries are made for only 4-5 years following the model's release. Choose from a supplier with a good reputation.

Did that laptop have a service tag on the bottom label? If yes, did you try inserting the service tag here to see the specific model?

@DELL-Chris M It did, but the servicing label is nearly fully faded. It is the exact model I posted though, made in 2014. I'll attach a few pictures, if you tell me how.
Thank you for the quick response!

The 2013 released 14 R1 does not have any parts available anymore. Do a web search for the part numbers below looking for a possible seller.

It's not an R1 I don't think. Its a 14 P39G, unless that's the same thing. Here's a few pictures

Thank you so much. Those indeed fit inside that laptop and require no modifications to work?

Those batteries will work, but you won't find one new enough to be worth buying if OEM Dell. They'll all be old stock -- generally, once the 4-5 year mark after release of the system (which would mean 2017-2018 for this model, which dates from 2013), any battery that's OEM will be of that age. Since batteries don't benefit from sitting on a shelf for 6 years or more, you're better off buying a third-party battery from a respected seller.
This seller appears to have decent ratings:

It is supposed to be a replacement for the battery you need, but it's always best to confirm with the seller before buying.

As far as I can see, yes -- you can search that for confirmation.

@ejn63
Search how exactly? I'm not familiar with reputable website analyzers.
Sorry for all the messages, I'm just trying to get this laptop functional ASAP
Thank you again for all your help regarding this

@ejn63
I have one last question for you, if that's okay.
What are some compatible CMOS batteries for this 14 R1?
Is it even worth replacing if im replacing the other battery anyway? The part number for it is 44YK6 and found one here:
https://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=item&id=33730
But since the main battery you linked me too is also on Newegg with the same seller and everything(Laptop Battery Express), it'd be nice to just buy both in cart from Newegg. Sorry to keep bugging you. The battery you listed is the one that I'm going to purchase. It'd just be nice to maybe get that one and the CMOS in one order on Newegg.
Either way, I'll be marking your answer as the "Accepted Answer" shortly, I just had this one last question. Thank you for everything,
Jacob
