Reasonable Alienware R11 CPU Core Temps
I bought an Alienware Aurora R11 back in early 2021 with an Intel Core i7 10700KF with liquid cooling. Its under warranty until next Feb. I noticed occasional CPU Core Temps spiking up to 100C when under light loads. I'm using HWINFO for reading temps. I'm seeing what I think are high CPU core temps when doing simple tasks like data backups. For example, just backing up a few gigs of data to an USB drive or Cloud service provider is getting my Core Temp up into the 80s C. When purely idle I see averages in the 40s. I've confirmed all the fans are operating properly, ran the Dell diagnostics and made sure the BIOS current. I know Dell AW PCs are known to be poorly designed for heat dissipation however are these temps normal. I could understand running hot if I was gaming but this is just casual use? Is this something I should have Dell look into given its still under an extended warranty?

Put it under stress loads to see if it stays stable.
These systems are know to run hot Thread
Taking the side panel off will help, so will increasing fan speeds to maximum.
Since it's a 2021 model it should not need a thermal re-application.
Sometimes blowing out the rad/fan with air will help also.
