R11/R12 replacing both fans?

Question

Hello experts, my son and I are looking to upgrade the fans on our Alienware R11 and R12, units were purchased a few months apart during the pandemic. Both feature RTX 3080’s.
Our fan noise is driving us crazy, it always has, but it’s gotten worse lately. Is there a list of compatible 120mm fans? That won’t cause errors and are still in production. ?

does your R11 and R12 both have Dell pancake cpu cooler or liquid cooler?

Is the fan noise from 3080? R11/12 case is cramped therefore a blower type gpu is recommended over free air. If you have free air type gpu recommend replace with blower type.

you may think replacing fan is good enough to solve noise issue but the underlying issue is probably overheating inside chassis.  there is no better fan that is both quiet and equally good at cooling.  Dell fans are high static pressure fan good at push out hot air in high air resistance case such as the 11/12 Aurora.  If you think the fan has worn out, replace with new identical oem fan.  they are still in stock.

People have had success with the LINK Arctic P12 Max PWM fans, which are only about $6 at Amazon
