PCI Express Upstream Switch Port Code 10

I'm using an Alienware Area 51 desktop, which has two Thunderbolt 4 ports. I have a device connected to each port:

  • Thunderbolt Port 1: Anker Prime 14-in-1 Thunderbolt 5/4 Docking Station

    • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_15EF&SUBSYS_00008086&REV_06
  • Thunderbolt Port 2: Blackmagic eGPU 580

    • PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_5786&SUBSYS_11112222&REV_84

When I connect these devices, Device Manager shows a "PCI Express Upstream Switch Port" error (Code 10) for both. One of the devices appears to be functioning, but I can't confirm whether it's operating at full capability. The other device doesn't seem to work at all — for instance, when I plug a USB drive into its ports, the system doesn't detect it.

Regarding the eGPU: I don't actually use it for graphics processing, since my desktop has a more powerful internal GPU. I mainly use the eGPU for the additional USB ports on the back.

Dell GHN (Get Help Now) chat support must verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Alienware Desktop Service Tag with them.

Before our users can assist, specify which Area-51 model you have there.
