Dell will not honor a 3y warranty on a AW3423DWF
A month ago, I started having issues with a noise coming from my monitor. After having the monitor for 2y1/2 I dint have any problem. A high pitch noise has started to develop and at times it is very loud and distracting. I have sent many videos of the sound, had to escalate a few times and then they asked me for a decibel meter test.
I run the test proving it went from 26-27dB to 37dB in the monitor. Indicating a 10dB increase, a x10 more powerful noise around the monitor, as it is a logarithmic scale. Still, they say the noise is normal.
After trying to explain the noise was not there before and now it is a problem they still say it is normal. I tried to continue escalating the issue but they wont let me talk with an American team.
I purchased this product with a 3y promise from the company and they are failing their commitment.
Has anyone else had this issue were Dell is trying to mess you over and not honor their warranty?

Hi
The typical noise level range for the Dell Alienware AW3423DWF monitor is under 32 decibels, which aligns with industry standards for display cooling fans.
This value reflects Dell's specification for its OLED monitor fans, designed to prevent overheating while remaining unobtrusive in most environments.
User reports indicate very quiet operation under normal use, though there can be occasional individual reports of faint fan or coil noise, especially in extremely quiet rooms.
Therefore you may be able to find a stated Dell noise level for the device, however, how you enforce your seemingly valid case I know not.

Here is a video:
(11) Alienware AW3423DWF high pitch sound problem and Dell warranty - YouTube
In the first part, it shows when you get close to a +10dB increase in loudness, from 26 to 38dB.
Then second part, I put my phone close to the device to pick up the sound that is emitting.
Now, a disclaimer, I don't have professional-grade equipment or a high-sensitivity microphone to pick up all the nuances. In the video, there is an instance in sec 9-10 where the phone mic picks up the noise and then hides it because of noise canceling.
The fact remains: for 2 years 1/2 no sound problem; last month, now has a sound problem. It is a High-pitched sound that is now very annoying when using the monitor. The second part of the video is what I hear where I am sitting.
This is a very expensive monitor to have issues like this. You pay a premium price for a premium experience and service.
