AW510K Keyboard Back lighting

Hi there.

I have recently got myself a nice alienware setup, complete with laptop, keyboard, mouse and headset.

All is setup, but I have a question about my keyboard... I'm not sure if it's defective, or if there is some kind of setting I've missed? Or maybe what I'm seeing is normal?!?!

So, I have been able to successfully alter the colours on the keys etc, and save a profile, and when left alone, my keyboard looks as I have set it. BUT, when I start to type, firstly ALL keys turn a light blue for about 2 seconds, then all lighting goes off for 2 seconds save for any "activated keys" which display in white. (Num Lock, Caps Lock etc), then if I continue typing I get flashing on and off blue every 2 seconds, but if I stop typing, all the set colours return.

Is this something that I can get help with? Is this a bug or a feature? If it's a feature, how to I make it so that the colours are static?

Thanks,

@jlgjfo FX > Lighting > ON KEY PRESS . EFFECT: OFF > Static (always on)

Hope that helps <3

Ignore this ^

Turns out I'm a dope, and it was simply a lighting effect that I inadvertently applied...
