AW3821DW, stops Windows 11 from Sleep

I realise this has been a problem for many of us for years, but it has become even more frustrating recently, specifically Alienware Control Center stops Windows 11 (and Windows 10) from sleeping.

I have a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 and I have both a AW3821DW Monitor as well as some AW510H headphones, so Windows detects these and consequently automatically installs the device drivers as well as the AWCC software. Installation of AWCC stops my computer (which is not a Dell!) from sleeping, although running the usual powercfg command does not show any issues.

Carrying out a manual delete of the AWCC software resolves the issue and allows the computer to sleep again, however shortly after executing a manual delete, the Windows Store seems to reinstall the offending software again. This again stops the computer from being able to sleep or turn off the monitor.

My only solution at the moment is to disable all Dell & Alienware services in the Windows Services Control Panel.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
