AW3821DW, 2015 MacBook Pro, HDMI not working
Alienware 38 Curved Gaming Monitor AW3821DW
Hello,
I have an Alienware 38" Curved Gaming Monitor (AW3821DW). I would like to use this with my MacBook Pro (2015 Retina). I have tried plugging in directly with an HDMI cable, but my MacBook Pro cannot recognize the monitor.
My question is, is there any driver or some sort of software I can use too support this? I found this site that did mention that MacBooks should be "Plug and play".
https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/en-au/000131796/dell-gaming-monitor-frequently-asked-questions
So I am a little confused why I can't seem to get it to work, and what I am doing wrong.
Thanks!

Access the monitor OSD menu and verify that you select proper HDMI input. Here is the monitor user guide that may help with providing the technical specifications as well as navigating its menu and features https://dl.dell.com/content/manual12691927-alienware-aw3821dw-monitor-user-s-guide.pdf?language=en-us

Wow! Thank you very much. I feel rather stupid. That was quite a simple solution and it worked. Thank you Chino de Oro!
