AW3423DWF, black screen problem

I have begun to experience a problem with my gaming monitor where the screen will go black. This happens randomly, but once it happens it is a repetitive issue. Pressing the power button does not turn off the monitor when the screen goes black. Also, it happens more frequently the longer the monitor has been on at any given time. My first thought was overheating, but the monitor/screen is not hot when the screen goes black.

I have run the self-diagnostic test with my PC off and all wires unplugged from it, and the same issue persists while the screen is just in solid colors.

I have run out of ideas on what to try to resolve the problem, so I'm hoping to find an answer here.
