AW3423DW, DP input issues and obnoxious fan noise

Hello,

For some time now my AW3423DW has been the loudest equipment in ny office—more so than my 4U ubiquiti rack and desktop combined. 

It has gotten to the point that I will power off the monitor and then unplug it from the surge protector. 

most worrisome is that this monitor did not use to behave this way.

Another thing that didn’t use is I happen is the random/intermittent blank screen that now frequently occurs while gaming. 

I have verified all cables are appropriate, verified ambient temps < 70 degrees (c) and there is PLENTY of room for my equipment within my office.
