AW3225QF, screen goes black after firmware update M2B107

I've had my AW3225QF for about a year with zero issues. Last week, I updated the firmware to version M2B107, and everything seemed fine—until today.

After booting up my PC, the monitor works normally for 1–2 seconds, then the screen goes black. It doesn’t fully turn off (LEDs stay on), and Windows still shows it as active. If I turn the monitor off and back on, it works again briefly, but then goes black after 10–15 seconds.

I’ve tried disabling HDR and Dolby Vision—no luck. I also swapped out the DisplayPort cable (I’m connected via DP), but that didn’t help either. I even connected a Mac via HDMI, and the exact same issue happens—screen goes black, and not even the OSD shows up when it does.

The only way I can keep it working a bit longer is by lowering the refresh rate from 239Hz to 60Hz, but even then, the screen eventually goes black again.

I’m using a dual-monitor setup (a 60Hz LG 4K and the Alienware), and only the AW3225QF is affected. I reinstalled the firmware, and it seemed to fix the issue temporarily, but the problem came back after running Pixel Refresh. I also rolled back my GPU drivers to a more stable version, thinking it might be a driver issue—but no change.

At this point, it really seems like the issue is caused by the Alienware firmware (M2B107).

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

TL;DR:
AW3225QF goes black seconds after boot since firmware update to M2B107. Happens across different cables, ports, even on a Mac. Only workaround is dropping to 60Hz, but issue persists. Likely a firmware problem.
