AW3225QF, M2B106, feature enhancement request
Dear Dell Support Team,
I am currently using the Alienware AW3225QF monitor and would like to raise a few questions and suggestions regarding its behavior and potential firmware improvements:
Pixel Refresh in Standby Mode:
Could you confirm whether the monitor performs pixel refresh automatically when in standby mode (i.e., no signal but still powered on)? If not, is it possible for this to be enabled through a future firmware update?Auto Power-Off Feature:
Would it be possible to introduce an option in the OSD menu that allows the monitor to automatically perform a full power-off when no signal is detected across all input sources? Ideally, this feature could include a user-defined timer threshold.Flickering/Black Screen During Content Playback:
I have encountered occasional flickering or black screen issues during Netflix playback and while playing certain games. My system is an Asus Strix Scar 18 (2025) equipped with an NVIDIA RTX 5080, connected to the monitor via HDMI. Is this a known compatibility or firmware issue, and can it be addressed in a future update?Dolby Vision Mode Retention Issue:
Occasionally, after waking the monitor from standby, the Dolby Vision setting reverts to "Game" mode even though I had previously selected "Dark" mode. Could this behavior be resolved in a future update to ensure the preferred Dolby Vision mode is consistently retained?
I appreciate your support and look forward to your feedback on the above points.

If you're still in the return window, return this piece of junk. Dell doesn't care about this monitor or the customers that bought it.

Just search the threads about this monitor, there is a huge one marked as solved where people actually beg for more than 1 year and 2 months for a firmware update and they ignore us.
